Australia posted a stunning 431/2 in the final ODI, thanks to brilliant centuries from Travis Head (142), Mitch Marsh (100), and Cameron Green (118 not out). Their heroics translated into major jumps in the batting charts:
- Travis Head moved up one spot to joint 11th.
- Mitch Marsh surged four places to 44th.

- Josh Inglis rose 23 places to 64th following his knock of 87 in the second ODI.
At the top of the batting rankings, India’s Shubman Gill (784) and Rohit Sharma (756) continue to dominate in first and second place, with Pakistan’s Babar Azam (739) holding third.
On the bowling front, Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana joined South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj at the top of the ICC ODI bowling rankings, both sitting on 671 points. Maharaj dipped slightly after managing only 1/57 in the series decider, while Theekshana benefited despite not featuring in recent matches.

Although Australia lost the series, the performances of Head, Marsh, and Green highlight the team’s batting depth and their ability to challenge the world’s best in the road to the 2025 ICC ODI World Cup.
