Apple to Reveal iPhone 17 and New Hardware on September 9

Apple has announced its upcoming hardware event scheduled for September 9 at 10 a.m. PT. The event is expected to showcase the iPhone 17 lineup, along with updates to the Apple Watch and AirPods. Rumors suggest the company is planning significant upgrades, including bigger screens, enhanced cameras, and possibly an ultra-thin iPhone Air to replace the Plus model.

iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max: Expected Features

The iPhone 17 is anticipated to receive a major redesign closer to the Pro models. The standard model may feature a 6.3-inch display, a 0.2-inch increase over the iPhone 16, and a 120 Hz refresh rate, up from 60 Hz. Rumors also suggest a 24-megapixel front camera and new color options like purple and green.

The iPhone 17 Pro could showcase a redesigned rear camera layout, with three lenses arranged in a rectangular bar spanning the device's width. The flash, sensor, and microphone may shift to the right side, while the Apple logo would remain centered. Additionally, Apple might replace the titanium band with aluminum for a lighter feel and reduced cost.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to have fewer visual upgrades but could feature a slightly thicker body to house a larger battery—a notable improvement for long-lasting performance.
